Due to the ongoing national health situation we have taken measures to adjust our sale on April 24, 2020. We value our customers’ health and want everyone to maintain their good health both now and long into the future. In order to limit the risk for our customers we are going to forgo the provided lunch this year as that would lead to a great deal of proximity concerns. Additionally we encourage people to pre-register for the sale via website (above) so that we can have sale numbers prepared and ready when sale day arrives.
We will be having the sale outdoors in the sale lots. The bulls and heifers will be sold right out of the lots and buyers will stay on the road. We will work to ensure that the sale order is clear and will work to keep organization throughout. Individual animals will be sorted nearest the road when it is their time to sell so buyers have full knowledge of the animal being sold.
We encourage everyone to come visit the farm in the weeks leading up to the sale to view the sale cattle and make your list. You will be able to get an up close view that may be impossible on sale day. This will also reduce the time needed to make your selections on the day of the sale. We will also have several people available to contact if you choose to maintain social distance and bid via phone.
In order to spread out the animals and thus the people, we are removing the cow-calf pairs from the live auction this year. If the cow-calf pairs were your primary interest, please contact us via the website. They will not be auctioned off but are still for sale private treaty.
